I didn’t plan on starting a boot company. I just wanted a better pair of boots.
It started with a pair of cap toe service boots — heavy, rugged, and unapologetically stiff. Breaking them in was no joke. But once they softened, they became my everyday companion. Over time, I realized the best boots don’t just survive the years — they look better because of them.
That kicked off a deep dive (read: obsession). I bought, broke in, and tore apart dozens of boots. I studied construction methods, materials, and how brands were cutting corners while raising prices. I could tell you which ones used real leather insoles, and which ones used fiberboard. Which ones had hand-welted integrity and which just looked the part.
And I kept thinking: why isn’t anyone making the right boot — one that’s well-built, customizable, and actually attainable?
So I made it myself.
